Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effect of body and mind health model on the quality of life in patients with multi drug resistant pulmonary tuberculo-sis. Methods Sixty - eight patients with multidrug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis were divided into the control group and the observation group. Patients in the control group received conventional holistic nursing,while patients in the observation group received mental,psychological and social intervention. The quality of life and pulmonary function before and after intervention were investigated. Results The quality of in the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05),and pulmonary function significantly improved(P ﹤ 0. 01 or P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion The application of body and mind health model for patients with multidrug resistant pulmonary tuberculosis can reduce the adverse reactions caused by disease and treatment,and improve patients’quality of life.
