Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effects of pronunciation functional training on the laryngeal function reconstruction in laryngeal cancer postoperative patients. Methods Seventy - eight patients with laryngeal carcinoma were equally divided into the treatment group and the control group. Patients in the control group received routine care during the laryngeal function reconstruction, while patients in the treatment group received positively pronunciation functional training for two months. Results The incidence of complicationes such as subcutaneous emphysema, throat fistula, wound infection, pharyngeal fistula of patients in the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group. The EGG fundamental frequency and fundamental frequency perturbation values in the two groups significant decreased, while the fundamental frequency and fundamental frequency perturbation values of patients in the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). The physical function, sleep and energy, movement and sensory, mental function scores in the treatment group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P ﹤ 0. 05). Conclusion Pronunciation functional training can reduce the incidence of complications, improve pronunciation function and the quality of life in laryngeal cancer patients.
