The cerrent status of occupational exposure among clinical nurses

Abstract：Objective To investigate the situation of occupational exposure among clinical nurses,propose the protection countermeasures,so as to reduce the occurrence of occupational exposure. Methods Totally,192 nurses were inuestlgated with a self - designed questionnair about the occupational exposure. Results Thehigh risk group of exposures was nurse who had worked for less than 5 years,accounted for 83. 47% . The main way of exposure was sharp instru-ment injury,accounted for 85. 95% . The incidence of occupational exposure was highest during the morning peak period of treatment,accounted for 73. 55% . Conclusion It is suggested to strengthen the training of occupational safety and protection to enhance clinical nurses occupational safety protection conscious-ness,standardize medical operation,so as to reduce the incidence of occupational exposure and reduce the risk of being infected by taking effective and reasonable interventions after exposure.
