Study on the application of scalp venous blood sampling in neonatal disease screening

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of scalp venous blood sampling in neonatal disease screening. Method Totally,200 newborns in the neo-natal disease screening were divided into the experimental group and the control group with 100 cases each group,heel blood collection method was used in the control group,which blood sampling occured in even months. Scalp vein blood sampling method was applied in the experimental group,which blood sampling oc-cured in odd months. Results The blood sampling time,pain score,blood stasis parts were lower in the experimental group than those of the control group,The success rate,qualified rate of blood sample inspection and satisfaction of parents were higher in the experimental group than those of the control group (P﹤0. 01 or P﹤0. 05). Conclusion Application of the scalp venous blood sampling into neonatal disease screening can increase success rate of blood som-pling and qualified rate of blood samples and reduce pain. And itˊs worthy to promote in clinical institutions.
