The effects of scenario simulation training on nurse -patient communication during delivery for junior midwives

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of scenario simulation training on nurse-patient communication during delivery for junior midwives. Method The measures included selecting trainers,determining the training objectives and themes,designing scenes,previewing and discussing nurse-patient communication,then practicing formally and making analyses. Results The junior midwivesˊnurse-patient communication ability and patient satisfaction were improved(P﹤0. 01). Conclusion Scenarios simulation training helps to improve nurse-patient communication skills of junior midwives in the delivery room.
