The practice and effects of Emergency Case Simulator situational teaching on the humanistic quality of nursing students

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the effects of Emergency Case Simulator( ECS)on the humanistic quality of nursing students. Methods Totally, 252 undergraduate nursing students were divided into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group used ECS situational teaching,and the control group used traditional scene teaching method. The humanistic quality of nursing students in the two groups were compared. Results The score of hu-manistic quality in the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤ 0. 01). Conclusion Using the ECS situational simulation teaching takes a positive effect on development of humanistic quality,we should pay attention to nursing studentsˊhumanistic quality during skill training.
