Abstract:The accounting of gross ecosystem product(GEP)for reservoirs is a crucial aspect of deeply implementing the concept that green mountains and clear waters are as valuable as mountains of gold and silver, and it is also a significant com-ponent of the development of a green water economy.Based on systematic research and analysis, combined with the actual sit-uation of reservoirs in Shenzhen,a GEP accounting index system for reservoirs in Shenzhen was constructed, including three primary indicators of material product supply, regulation services, and cultural services, and 13 secondary indicators such as fishery product supply, water resource supply, and reduction of sediment accumulation.GEP accounting was conducted using direct market method, alternative market method, and other methods, taking Gongming Reservoir in Shenzhen as an example. The results show that in 2023,the total value of ecological products of Gongming Reservoir will be 4.707 63 billion yuan,of which the value of regulation services is the largest(4.288 27 billion yuan),accounting for 91.09%of the total value of Gong-ming Reservoir;Next is the cultural service value(217.43 million yuan),accounting for approximately 4.62%;The supply val-ue of material products is the smallest(201.93 million yuan),accounting for 4.29%,but there is not much difference in value compared to cultural services.Based on the accounting results and thorough research, this paper analyzes the difficulties in re-alizing the ecological value of reservoirs in Shenzhen and proposes a path and model for realizing the ecological product val-ue.The research results can provide reference for the realization of ecological product value of reservoirs in Shenzhen.
