Abstract:In recent years, the issue of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)contaminating soils has become increasing-ly severe, with soils serving as the ultimate"sink"for PAHs.The application and development of various remediation tech-nologies have progressed continuously, each with its own advantages and limitations. However, the effectiveness of these remediation processes is often constrained by multiple factors. This review systematically summarizes the applications of four remediation technologies-physical,chemical,biological,and combined remediation-on PAH-contaminated soils of different textures. It provides an in-depth analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of each technology,as well as the impacts of soil texture and environmental factors on degradation efficiency.Among them, microbial remediation and its en-hanced remediation techniques are primary methods to remove PAHs from contaminated soils.Combined remediation can leverage the synergistic effect of each technology to improve the remediation effect of PAH-contaminated soil.Soil texture and physicochemical parameters significantly influence the remediation effectiveness.Optimizing parameters based on soil characteristics and selecting appropriate remediation technologies can promote the development and application of remedia-tion technologies.
