Abstract:A significant positive correlation between atmospheric PM2.5 emissions and NH3 emissions has been shown. In this study, the NH3 emissions and NH3 emission intensity of each district and county in Heze City were calculated in detail. The characteristics of each type of NH3 emission source in Heze City were analyzed to determine the effective path of NH3 emission reduction in each district and county.Based on Sperman correlation analysis, the correlation between NH3 emission intensity and PM2.5 concentration in Heze City was verified. The results showed that the NH3 emissions from each agricultural NH3 emission source in Heze City were,in descending order, livestock and poultry farming>nitrogen fertilizer application>human feces>straw composting>soil background>straw incineration>nitrogen-fixing plants. The contribution of NH3 emissions from agricultural sources in Heze City is mainly livestock and poultry farming and nitrogen fertilizer application.Cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry are the main farming species in Heze City. The annual average PM2.5 concentration had a strong positive correlation with the NH3 emission intensity of agricultural sources(Sperman correlation coefficient r of 0.961 28,p value<0.05).It is recommended that Heze City implement agricultural NH3 emission reduction measures by improving live-stock and poultry farming intensification, strengthening livestock and poultry manure management, and promoting scientific application of nitrogen fertilizers to reduce PM2.5 emissions.
