Abstract:Understanding the water and soil environmental characteristics of typical submerged plant communities in Yinchuan Plain wetland and their fitting relationship with key environmental indicators can clarify the external driving force of vegetation teady-state maintenance and dynamic change, and provide a theoretical basis for the ecological restora-tion of wetland submerged plant communities in the study area.Through the investigation of wetland vegetation in the field, the analysis of environmental characteristics and the fitting relationship between the community and the key environ-mental indicators, the results indicate that the diversity of species composition and the complexity of species contribution of Potamogeton crispus community are high, and the species are evenly distributed, preferring high N and pH habitats. The species composition of Potamogeton pectinatus community showed clustering or patchy distribution characteristics, and pre-ferred low organic pollutant habitats in water. The diversity characteristics of Myriophyllum spicatum community are be-tween the two, preferring high P in water and high nutrient salt habitat in sediment. The key environmental factors in the water column affecting the three submerged plant communities are EC,NH4+,KMnO4 and COD,and the environmental fac-tors in the substrate are TOC,TP and NO3-.The fitting models of NH4+,EC,KMnO4,COD and Cl-in the water of Potamo-geton crispus community and SO42-,Na+and K+in the sediment of Potamogeton pectinatus community were logarithmic functions, and the fitting models of other communities and environmental indicators were polynomial functions, and the fit-ting threshold appeared.
