Abstract：Particle resuspension in indoor environment is an important source for indoor particulate matter,which increases the human exposure risk and does harm to human health.The paper reviews recent research methods and results,explains primary particle resuspension mechanisms including the process of lifting,sliding and rolling,analyzes particle forces and various environmental impact factors,emphasizes the existing quantification terms and calculating methods induced by walking activity.Particle resuspension is in nature complicated and multi-disciplinary,future research suggestions are put forward finally.
