Progress and Research of Urban Vulnerability

Abstract：The research of urban vulnerability has become a hot factor which hinders the sustainable development of China.Based on the profile of the international and domestic researches on urban vulnerability,the progress of urban vulnerability research was discussed,the concept,analysis framework,assessment method and evaluation indicators were reviewed,and application of urban vulnerability by building mathematical models was analyzed.It is suggested that index selection and evaluation methods are different for different research objects in the study of urban vulnerability,with the scope coveting the inside and outside of the city,and contents including single model and multi model.The advantages and disadvantages of urban vulnerability researches are discussed,which would provide reference for future study and to provide scientific support for the healthy development of the city.
