Progress in Atmospheric Aerosol Size Distribution in China

Abstract：The concentration and size distribution of aerosol particles are influenced by different meteorological conditions,the analysis of its characteristics is of great significance to the study of atmospheric environment.This paper expounds the research status of the aerosol size distribution in China in the recent twenty years,with focuses on aerosol size distributions of the four different regional atmospherics,such as background atmosphere aerosol,urban aerosol,maritime aerosol and dust aerosol.The vertical distribution of the aerosol size,and their corresponding lognormal distribution experience function parameter values are introduced.Simultaneously the impact on atmospheric visibility,radiative forcing and their benefit to human health,and the relationship with new particle formation are within the scope of the discussion.
