Abstract:A study on aerosol optical properties was carried out from September 2014 to August 2015 in Shouxian. The results showed that annual PM2.5 mass concentration, scattering coefficient,back-scattering ratio, absorption coefficient and single scattering albedo are 71.6 μg/m3,399.9 Mm-1,0.15,31.6 Mm-1,0.92 and the main frequencies are located in 35~75 μg/m3,100~200 Mm-1,10~20 Mm-1,0.12 ~0.13,0.9~0.96,respectively.Among them, the PM2.5 mass concentration, scattering coefficient, absorption coefficient show an autumn maximum,a summer minimum, and an obvious bimodal diurnal variation. The back-scattering ratio and single scattering albedo has an autumn minimum and different diurnal variations. The back-scattering ratio from human area is high while that from Northwest China is low,and the single scattering albedo from ocean and local area are both high. The PM2.5 mass concentration, scattering coefficient, absorption coefficient increase during straw burning, while the single scattering albedo and back-scattering ratio decrease significantly due to hygroscopic growth and homogeneous or heterogeneous chemical reactions.
