Abstract:Either source-oriented model method or receptor model method can be applied to source apportionment of PM2.5,each has its own merit. In this paper, the WRF-Chem (Weather Research and Forecasting Model with Chemistry) and PMF (Positive Matrix Factorization) model were used to source apportionment of PM2.5 in Handan City in October,2014,respectively.The analytical results of PMF model showed that the source contribution of the secondary source were 30.2%,followed by 25.4% of coal combustion,15.1% of metal-smelting source, motor vehicle exhaust (14.4%),dust source (9.8%),and biomass burning (5.2%).The analytical results of WRF-Chem with Brute-Force method showed that industrial emission contributed 49.0% of PM2.5,followed by domestic emission (11.9%),agricultural emission (9.6%),transportation (3.8%),and power plant (-1.5%) (nonlinear relationship among the primary pollutants resulted in negative value). In addition, using the apportionment of the secondary components (SO42-,NO3-and NH4+) to re-analyze the source contribution of PM2.5,the results suggested that coal combustion was the largest contributor with proportion of 25.7%,followed by agricultural emission (24.0%),industrial emission (6.5%),biomass burning source (1.8%),and motor vehicle exhaust (0.03%).Finally,using the WRF-Chem combined with PMF model resulted in the local coal combustion contributed 37.1% of PM2.5,followed by metal-smelting source (18.4%),motor vehicle exhaust (15.1%),dust source (13.3%),and biomass burning (6.2%).
