Review on Sewage Epidemiology of Illicit Drugs

Abstract：Illicit drugs are a group of chemicals which have strong excitatory,inhibitory or sedative effects on human central nervous system.Though the trends of abuse of illicit drugs are becoming more and more serious in the world,people have a lack of accurate understanding of the amount of abuse,the population of abuse and so on.The sewage epidemiology developed in recent years is widely considered to be an effective and convenient method to estimate the drugs abuse and abuse of the number.With the development of research in this area,the contents and applications are widely expanded.Based on the analysis of the current research,the typical illicit drugs sewage epidemiology's initiation,developments and applications are reviewed.Domestic research in this area has just started,a lot of work needs to be furthedy carded out.
