Abstract:Spherical particle adsorbents were prepared using modified rectories, polyvinyl alcohol and sodium alginate as raw material and calcium chloride used as cross linking agent. The products were characterized via the approach of Fourier wartsform infrared spectrum (FTIR),X-ray power diffraction (XRD) and electron microscope (SEM).The influence of balling performance was studied by changing additive amount of polyvinyl alcohol, sodium alginate and the concentration of calcium chloride. The effects of pH values, the additive amount of adsorbents and adsorbent time on removal crystal violet were studied. The experiment results showed, when the additive amount of PVA is 2 g,SA is 0.6 g and Na-REC/δ-MnO2 is 3 g and the mass concentration of CaCl2 is 1%,spherical particle adsorbents has a good balling performance and application. When the additive amount of Na-REC/δ-MnO2 is 30 g/L,pH values is 7 and adsorption time is 100 min,the maximum adsorption is 122.56 mg/g and false secondary dynamic equation could describe the adsorption process. The adsorptive percentage was above 61.34% after 7 times adsorption/regeneration,which indicated that the Na-REC/δ-MnO2 had good reuse potential.
