Abstract:Electric aggregation experiment of fine particles in the size of 0.3 μm,0.5 μm and 1.0 μm from the air of Beijing area were conducted in high frequency AC electric field. The effects of charge voltage, air pollution,AC voltage,AC frequency and average flow velocity on the electric aggregation of fine particles were studied.Experimental results of electric aggregation in high frequency AC electric field with fine particles in the air as the source of particles are obvious, with the maximum aggregation efficiency of fine particles of 0.3μ m,0.5μm and 1p m diameter up to 65%,62% and 55% respectively.Increase of the charge voltage can make the electric aggregation efficiency of fine particles increased, and when the charging voltage is U1>15 kV,the charge quantity to be saturated, the electric aggregation efficiency tends to be gentle. At the same charge voltage condition, the electric aggregation efficiency of fine particles in high concentration is lower than the fine particles in low concentration. The AC voltage has little effect on the electric aggregation of fine particles. It can increase electric aggregation efficiency of fine particles when increasing the frequency. When the average flow velocity in the rectangulachannel increases, the electric aggregation efficiency slows down.
