Abstract:Antibiotic resistant genes (ARGs) as a kind of emerging environmental contaminant have been detected in various aquatic ecosystems in recent years. In this study, the rule of ARGs variation was studied with respective to three different biological sewage treatment systems including inoculated sludge (IS),activated sludge craft (ASC) and sequencing biofflm batch reactor (SBBR),and beta-lactamOXA-1,OXA-2 and OXA-10 were detected in the above three systems,in addition, the real-time PCR was used to detect three ARGs.The study showed that compared with SBBR and IS,ASC was better in removing beta-lactam antibiotics, and increasing of concentration of antibiotics could effectively kill off the microorganism carrying ARGs in both ASC and SBBR systems.Furthermore,it was found concentration of ARGs of all the three systems decreased after running for 10 cycles (12 h per cycle) without antibiotics, but increased after running for 10 cycles with low antibiotic concentration.
