Abstract:Reclaimed water is efficiently used to recover the dry river in the arid and semiarid areas, but the river water is easily eutrophicated due to the high nutrient content, which would serious influence river ecological security.Taking the reclaimed water supply-type river,Liangshui River in Beijing as an example,a coupling model of hydrodynamic model and water quality model was developed based on MIKE11 software.Hydrological and water quality data practically measured was adopted to calibrate and verify the parameters of the river water quality model. Then, different scenarios of measures were proposedcombined with the pollution source, and the response relationship with measures and water quality was simulated via the model. The result showed that point source pollution control was the key ways to improve the river water quality, which could decrease ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus concentration in Dahongmen Sluice by 51.8% and 43.3%,respectively,followed by upgrading of WWTPs,ecological river course construction, and urban non-point source pollution control.A comprehensive plan including above measures was the most effectively in improving water quality of the river, with the annual concentration of ammonia and total phosphorus respectively as 0.969 mg/L and 0.214 mg/L in Dahongmen Sluice, which satisfied Grade Ⅳ surface water standard of China (GB 3838-2002).
