Abstract:In order to enhance the utilization of gentamicin fermentation residues, alkaline treatment, ultrasonic treatment, and alkaline/ultrasonic treatment was used on cell disintegration of gentamicin fermentation residues.By measuring the changes of SCOD and pH value in the supernatant after centrifugation, the effect of different initial pH value, action time and sound energy density on cell disintegration of gentamicin fermentation residues was studied. The results showed that the combining of ultrasonic and alkaline treatment was more effective than alkaline or ultrasonic treatment alone. The best condition by orthogonal test was that the gentamicin bacterial residue pretreated in initial pH value of 11.0,action time of 60 min,and sound energy density of 2.4 W/mL.Under this condition, the SCOD concentration growth rate was about 550%,which was about 2.6 times and 2.9 times of that of alkaline and ultrasonic treatment alone, respectively.
