Abstract:A Fe-Cu binary oxide was fabricated through simple co-precipitation process and dried at 80 ℃2 for 24 h.Then it was used to remove Sb (Ⅲ) from aqueous solution, and the influences of dosage, initial concentration and reaction temperature were investigated through batch experiments.Adsorption isotherm models, thermodynamics models and kinetics models of the adsorption process were systematically studied. The results showed that the adsorption reached equilibrium after 24 hours. When the pH was 5.0 and the reaction temperature was 25 ℃,81.30% of 40 mg/L Sb(Ⅲ) solution was removed by 0.03 g Fe-Cu binary oxide, and the adsorption capacity can reach 108.41 mg Sb(Ⅲ)/g Fe-Cu binary oxide. The removal of Sb(lⅢ) by Fe-Cu binary oxide followed the Freundlich adsorption isotherm and the pseudo-second-order kinetics.Gibbs free energy was less than zero, indicating that the reaction process was spontaneous.Mechanism analysis confirmed that the adsorption was mainly attributed to physical adsorption. After four times adsorption and desorption experiments, the removal ability of iron-copper binary oxide was good.
