Abstract:Seven representative coal-fired heat-only boilers and one gas-fired heat-only boiler were selected and monitored for the emission characteristics of PM10 and PM2.5 through a dilution stack sampling system. The results showed that there were significant differences of PM10/PM2.5 between coal-fired boilers with the wet scrubber dust remover and coal-fired boilers with the cyclone dust remover compared with the results of emission factors (wet scrubber dust remover:PM10 (0.341±0.289) kg/t,PM2.5 (0.305±0.270) kg/t;cyclone dust remover:PM10 (0.608±0.163) kg/t,PM2.5 (0.558±0.165) kg/t).The emission factor of PM10/PM2.5 from gas-boiler was 0.025 kg/104 ma,which is a good comparable result with other published paper domestic.PM10/PM2.5 emission factor from direct measurement was significantly lower than that from mass balance calculation, indicating that the mass balance method may over-estimate the primary PM10/PM2.5 emission from boilers in current inventories. There was significantly time variation of primary PM10/PM2.5 emission from heat-only boilers,6-8 am and 14-16 pm was the emission peak period and emission hollow, respectively.
