Abstract：A study on membrane bioreactor for domestic wastewater treatment and selection of membrane materials was introduced.The results showed that the membrane bioreactor has a high-removal-efficiency for CODcr(87%～98%)、BOD5(88%～99%)、NH3-N(89%～98%)、SS(100%)、E-coli(100%)、turbidity(98%～100%).The treated water could be used again.The polypropylene membrane had far more water product and the resistance to contamination than the polysulfone membrane.
