Screening of flocculent-producing strains and studying on time course
Abstract：32 strains were isolated from activated sludge with co nventionalmethods.Each strains was cultured in three different kinds of floccu lant-producing liquid mediums:JM-1,DF-1,PT-1.Kaolinite suspension was flocc ulated by the fermentation liquor which was regarded as the index to determine f locculating activity and ability to produce flocculant.8 flocculant producing s trains were obtained.Among them,a strain saccharomycete Dfjm-1 with high flocc ulating activity was obtained.The microbial flocculant of Dfjm-1 produce is na med Dtjm-1.In this paper,time course of flocculants production including growt h,flocculating activity,and pH were studied.
