Abstract:In order to study the water pollution situation of the water conveyance tunnels in environmentally sensitive areas and ensure the safe operation of the water network project,a refined three-dimensional seepage numerical analysis model was established based on the West Water Diversion Project in Sanya.Using the stable seepage theory, the simulation calculation of the seepage field of the water conveyance tunnel in the environmentally sensitive area was carried out.The distribution characteristics of the seepage fields, such as pore pressure, seepage velocity, and leakage volume, were studied, and the numerical analysis results were verified by combining with on-site water quality monitoring results. The research results indicate that under the condition of failure of the anti-seepage layer, the pore water pressure field around the tunnel and below the tunnel is formed by the seepage of groundwater through the tunnel. The pore pressure in most areas between the landfill and the tunnel is less than 0,and there is no hydraulic connection between the environmentally sensitive area of the water conveyance tunnel and the existing landfill, which has no impact on the water quality pollution of the water conveyance tunnel; The on-site monitoring results reveal that the water quality of the water conveyance tunnel is mainly affected by geological conditions, which proves the rationality and accuracy of the numerical simulation results. The research results can provide reference for the design of water conveyance tunnels in similar environmentally sensitive areas.
