Stability Analysis of Excavated Slope for Spillway of Warping Dam Project
LIAN Wei
Abstract:Using the Lizheng Geotechnical Software and the simplified Bishop Method,a stability analysis was conducted on the excavated soil slope of the warping dam spillway.According to different layout schemes,it was found that the excavation depth has a direct impact on the anti slip stability coefficient of the slope. After adjusting the engineering layout plan to reduce the excavation depth, the anti slip stability coefficient of the spillway excavated slope under various working conditions meets the specification requirements, the slope body is stable, and the slope protection design meets the engineering safety requirements.Through the case study of a warping dam project in a county of Yuncheng,Shanxi Province, this paper demonstrates the impact of reducing slope excavation depth on the anti slip stability coefficient, providing reference for the stability analysis of similar engineering slopes.
