Abstract：Budget performance management can effectively improve the efficiency of financial fund utilization and ensure the smooth implementation of engineering projects.During the project budget application stage,a performance target table must be prepared,performance monitoring and analysis of execution deviations must be conducted during the budget execution process,and unit performance self-evaluation must be conducted after the project is completed.Performance management work runs through the entire process of the project.Therefore,it is particularly important to set performance goals reasonably and use performance self-evaluation results reasonably.The implementation and effectiveness analysis of budget performance management in water conservancy engineering operation and maintenance projects have practical significance and can provide reference and guidance for similar work.
