Abstract:The"Six Mechanisms"for risk prevention and control in water conservancy safety production are effective means to ensure safety management during engineering construction. How the"Six Mechanisms"—identification, judgment, early warning, prevention, disposal, and responsibility—utilized to conduct safety management during the process of engineering construction management for the water conservancy construction project department was explored.Work content and results required by the"Six Mechanisms"during construction process management were summarized, and common problems potentially arising during the establishment of each mechanism were illustrated with examples.Suggestions were proposed for the construction project department regarding hazard identification and risk assessment, risk monitoring and emergency management, and accountability and regular summary, providing a reference for improving safety management.
