Analysis and Treatment Measures of Phytoplankton Community Structure in Yayi Lake
YUAN Weili
Abstract:As a regulation lake and characteristic landscape in a key urban park in South China, the ecological environment of Yayi Lake influences the city's image and citizens'health.Through comprehensive water environment governance, the water quality has improved to better than Class IV standards.During operation and maintenance, the lake was hit by extreme rainstorms, causing a large influx of water from outer rivers, followed by extreme high temperatures. This disrupted the original phytoplankton community structure and deteriorated water quality. After implementing operation and maintenance measures to readjust the phytoplankton community structure, the water quality was restored to the post-governance Class IV standard. The analysis and treatment of the impact of phytoplankton community structure on water quality in Yayi Lake provide a reference case and experience for the operation and maintenance management of similar projects.
