Ecological Flow Target and Guarantee Scheme of the Yongding River

Abstract：Ecological flow serves as a crucial indicator for coordinating industrial,domestic,and ecological water use.To determine the ecological flow targets for the Yongding River,key river control sections were selected by comprehensively considering dispatching performance and monitoring capabilities.Based on measured hydrological data,the Tennant method was employed to calculate ecological flow targets for the short,medium,and long terms.Satisfaction and accessibility of ecological flow at each section were analyzed in conjunction with relevant water conservancy and ecological measures and plans.Furthermore,an ecological flow guarantee scheme was proposed,covering aspects such as the dispatching of water conservancy projects,monitoring and early warning of flow at main control sections,and the identification of responsible subjects for ecological flow assurance.The findings provide a reference for improving ecological environment quality and expanding ecological space in the Haihe River Basin.
