Management Path of Groundwater Resources

Abstract：With the expansion of the socio-economic aggregate,the supply-demand contradiction of groundwater resources—a vital component of water resources—has become increasingly prominent supply-demand contradictions.To balance the relationship between groundwater resources and socio-economic development,research on groundwater protection and management was conducted.Based on an overview of groundwater utilization in Suqian City,specific protection measures were summarized,including strict control over development and utilization,groundwater legislation,implementation of water-saving projects,water rights trading,cracking down on illegal withdrawal,and education on groundwater protection.Results indicated that through these measures,groundwater levels in various counties and districts of Suqian City had steadily recovered.This study provides a reference for groundwater resource protection and management in other regions.
