Abstract:To further investigate groundwater migration patterns under the influence of ecological water replenishment in rivers,a typical cross-section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal was selected as the research object.A water flow model for the unsaturated zone was established with the HYDRUS model, enabling an in-depth analysis of the migration laws of groundwater recharge infiltration and their primary influencing factors under two distinct modes:perennial water flow and seasonal water flow. The results indicate that, compared to seasonal rivers, perennial rivers exhibit a faster response in groundwater recharge infiltration,a more significant rise in water levels,a broader range of influence, and a longer duration of recharge effects.Spatially, the central area of the river channel demonstrates a rapid recharge response, although significant spatial heterogeneity exists in localized areas. The effectiveness of river groundwater recharge is primarily influenced by factors such as river water depth, the lithology of the unsaturated zone, and groundwater depth.Based on regional water balance simulations and the analysis of recharge infiltration patterns, optimization suggestions for water replenishment in the North Canal and South Canal sections were proposed, providing a scientific basis for the implementation of ecological water replenishment and regional water resource allocation management.
