Practice and Thinking of Supervision Work for Hydro Projects in Xiong'an New Area

Abstract：Since 2020,the hydro projects in Xiong'an New Area(XNA)has stepped into the stage of large-scale construction.A number of large embankments,important hydro-junctions,water system dredging and other hydro projects have been under construction intensively,which have put forward higher requirements for the governmental quality and safety supervision.This paper summarized the quality and safety supervision work of hydro projects in XNA,and analysed the difficulties and challenges encountered in the process of supervision work.Combining with the reality of XNA and thinking from the perspective of constructing and perfecting the supervision mechanism,a supervision mode was put forward,which focused on perfecting the supervision and restraint mechanism,improving the ability of self-performance,strengthening the supervision of winter construction,innovating the supervision mode and promoting the construction of information platform.This paper provides references for the quality and safety supervision work in the special period of large-scale and centralized construction of hydro projects in the preliminary stage of other new areas.
