Design and Implementation of Wave-Type Ecological Revetment in River Regulation

Abstract：In the new era,river regulation projects demand more comprehensive revetment designs that not only fulfill fundamental flood control objectives but also place strong emphasis on ecological preservation,cultural landscape integration and human-water harmony.Ecological revetments should be designed to ensure the primary functions of flood control,drainage,and water diversion while achieving a balance with ecological benefits.Based on the river regulation project of the Zi River Basin,this study explores the design and application of wave-type ecological revetments in river regulation.By integrating biological and engineering measures,a comprehensive slope system is formed,providing functions such as slope protection,soil and water conservation,ecological restoration,landscape greening,and maintaining habitat continuity.
