Influence of Pre-Hydration Process on the Performance of Plastic Concrete

Abstract：Plastic concrete is a critical anti-seepage material,and improving its construction quality and anti-seepage performance is essential for applications in water conservancy,environmental protection,mining,and other fields.Through grouped experiments and data analysis,this study investigated the influence of pre-hydration treatment of bentonite on the performance of plastic concrete.The results showed that plastic concrete made with pre-hydrated bentonite exhibited stronger anti-seepage capabilities compared to traditional mixing methods.A set of construction practices applicable to field operations was developed,which could effectively improve the construction quality of plastic concrete while reducing costs.This process provides valuable references for similar engineering projects.
