Abstract:By the methods such as linear trend analysis, moving average, cumulative anomaly,R/S analysis, and double mass curve analysis, the interannual variation characteristics, runoff trends, and the impacts of precipitation changes and human activities on the inflow of the Nangudong Reservoir from 1976 to 2022 were analyzed in this study. The results indicated that the annual inflow of the reservoir generally exhibited a continuous decreasing trend during this period, with a reduction rate of approximately 0.005 6 billion m³/a.The Hurst index(H=0.671)for the inflow time series suggested that the inflow would likely continue to decrease in the near future.Human activities significantly influenced the annual inflow, being the dominant factor in its reduction, with the impact ranging from a minimum of 0.48 billion m³to a maximum of 0.57 billion m³.These findings provide a scientific bases for the rational allocation and sustainable utilization of water resources in the reservoir area.
