Abstract:The task of a certain reservoir project in the Tibet Autonomous Region includes comprehensive utilization such as agricultural irrigation, urban and rural domestic water supply, and industrial water supply. After the operation of the reservoir, the flow velocity of the water body in the reservoir area decreases, and the pollutants entering the reservoir from the surrounding areas increase compared to before operation, which may affect the water quality of the reservoir area. This study is based on the MIKE21 model, coupling a hydrodynamic model with a water quality model.Through scenario analysis under different operating conditions, the trends in water quality changes after reservoir operation are investigated.Additionally, measures for water environmental protection are proposed to support the stable operation of the reservoir and ensure the safety of its water supply quality.
