Abstract:Based on data from 12 soil moisture monitoring stations in Dezhou City from 2018 to 2023,combined with precipitation data during the same period, this study analyzed the intra-annual and inter-annual variation patterns of soil moisture.Additionally, regional divisions were used to statistically compare the multi-year average soil moisture content and precipitation across counties(cities, districts). The results are as follows:The intra-annual variation of soil moisture in Dezhou City is generally consistent with precipitation patterns.Spring droughts occur frequently, and although soil moisture slightly increases in April due to spring irrigation,it generally declines from March to June.Soil moisture rises in July and August with increased precipitation and then begins to decrease. The inter-annual variation of soil moisture is consistent with annual precipitation, with deeper soil layers showing higher and more stable moisture content, exhibiting the most gradual inter-annual changes.Regionally,Dezhou City can be ranked in descending order of soil moisture or precipitation as southern, northern, and central regions. This research provides valuable data support for the rational allocation of water resources and guidance of agricultural production activities in Dezhou City, making it highly significant.
