Abstract:Based on daily meteorological observation data from 29 meteorological stations in Jiangxi Province from 1980 to 2020,the spatial and temporal variation characteristics and climatic causes of reference crop evapotranspiration(ET0)were studied using the Penman-Monteith formula, stepwise regression, and path analysis. The results show that over the past 41 years, the increasing rates of maximum temperature(Tmax),minimum temperature(Tmin),and average temperature(T)in Jiangxi were 0.042,0.042,and 0.041℃/a,respectively.Relative humidity(RH),sunshine duration(SSD),and average wind speed(WS)decreased at rates of 0.099%/a,0.005 h/a,and 0.003(m/s)/a,respectively.The ET0 increased at a rate of 1.17 mm/a,with a spatial distribution ranging from 700.80 to 970.90 mm.The direct impacts of meteorological factors on ET0,in descending order, were SSD,Tmin,RH,Tmax and WS.The indirect impacts,in descending order, were Tmax,Tmin,RH,WS and SSD.
