Abstract:Due to uneven settlement, the soil in mine dump sites is highly vulnerable to gully erosion, landslides, and soil loss during short-term concentrated rainfall. The utilization of rainwater and flood resources can effectively alleviate the water resource supply-demand contradiction in regional industries. It is of significant practical importance to comprehensively address both the control of geological disasters caused by rainstorms and the utilization of rainwater and flood resources.Research on the asset value of rainwater and flood resources provides a theoretical basis for their effective use. From the perspective of rainwater and flood resource asset value, this study leverages the relationship between rainwater resources and socioeconomic development to calculate and evaluate the reclaimed land area of large dump sites and the annual effective runoff of rainwater and flood resources in the Pingshuo mining area. The findings provide theoretical support for the next steps in demonstrating and implementing rainwater and flood resource utilization in mining areas, meeting the needs of coordinated socioeconomic and ecological development.
