Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization, urban underground pipelines,as critical infrastructure, directly impact urban safety and efficiency through their construction and management quality.Currently, issues such as aging pipelines and unreasonable layouts occur frequently, leading to problems like urban flooding and sewage overflow.Against the backdrop of urban renewal and resilient city construction, the rainwater and sewage separation retrofit and supporting facilities project in a district of Nanchong City were taken as an example to explore the full lifecycle application of BIM technology in urban renovation projects under the EPC model. The research covered the application of BIM technology in multi-disciplinary collaborative design, secondary development,BIM+GIS real-scene integration,3D vertical annotation and visualized construction briefing, and schedule management. The results showed that BIM technology significantly improved the efficiency and quality of project management, addressing many issues inherent in traditional management models, and provided strong support for the sustainable use of urban infrastructure and the construction of resilient cities.
