Gate and Dam Surface Displacements Monitoring Method Based on Multi-Algorithm Applications
ZHAO Long
Abstract:To address the issue of unstable monitoring in gate and dam displacements monitoring caused by environmental factors,a new machine vision algorithm was proposed by integrating multiple algorithmic techniques, including gamma correction framework, weighted guided filtering, surface fitting target tracking, and Bayesian framework. The algorithm's performance was validated through experiments and field tests. The results showed that the visual algorithm's monitoring data for gate and dam displacements aligned closely with the measured data across different scenarios, with an error of less than 0.04 mm.Additionally, the peak signal-to-noise ratio and information entropy increased by 2.67%and 4.85%,respectively,while the standard deviation decreased by 2.60%.The accuracy of the target tracking algorithm was also significantly improved. The proposed new vision algorithm, based on the fusion of multiple algorithms, could monitor gate and dam displacements with high precision.
