Construction Standards for Secondary Water Supply Pump Room Environments

Abstract：As the"last kilometer"of urban water supply systems,the comprehensiveness,applicability,and perfection of engineering construction standards for secondary water supply are crucial.However,current standards and specifications related to secondary water supply contain limited provisions regarding pump room environments,and the existing regulations lack specificity.This has created challenges in the construction and operation management of secondary water supply facilities and may pose potential risks to water safety.The issues and impacts related to the pump room environment were analyzed in this study,such as temperature and humidity,noise,hygiene,and drainage,and proposes control ranges for relevant parameters along with corresponding measures.The findings provide references for the development and revision of standards and specifications related to the environmental construction of secondary water supply pump rooms.
