Influencing Factors and Improvement Strategies for Energy Efficiency in Pumping Stations

Abstract：Pumping stations are the essential component of water conservancy projects,playing a significant role in the development,utilization,and scheduling of water resources,with substantial engineering and social benefits.However,there are still considerable rooms for optimization in terms of improving operational efficiency and reducing energy consumption.Based on the actual operation of the Hongqiao Water Supply Pumping Station in Tianjin,the energy efficiency improvements from multiple perspectives were analyzed,including operational methods,advanced technology applications,economically optimal water levels,and equipment maintenance.Corresponding optimized operational strategies were proposed to enhance the energy efficiency of pumping stations.
