Safety Impact of Power Collection Line Overlapping on Water Supply Pipeline Projects

Abstract：The planning and construction of power collection lines inevitably involve crossing water conservancy projects,making it essential to analyze and evaluate factors affecting the safe operation of these projects.Based on an engineering case study and in accordance with the spatial layout and safety distance of power collection lines overlapping water supply pipelines,the impacts of construction during the line's construction phase and current effects during its operational phase on the water supply pipeline were studied.Additionally,the reverse impacts of normal maintenance and future planning of the water supply pipeline on the operation of the power collection line were analyzed.Also the technical and safety impact assessments were conducted.The results indicated that the construction of the power collection line would not significantly adversely affect the safe operation of the water supply pipeline,providing valuable reference for the planning and construction of projects involving crossings between water conservancy projects and other engineering works.
