Reinforcement Scheme for the Qiaozijian Reservoir Risk Elimination Project

Abstract：In the 20th century,numerous reservoirs were constructed in China,providing critical support and guarantees for economic and social development.However,due to limitations of the time and long-term operation,some reservoirs have encountered various issues,necessitating urgent risk elimination and reinforcement.Taking the Qiaozijian Reservoir as an example,an in-depth analysis of the problems faced by the reservoir were conducted in this study,and a risk elimination and reinforcement scheme was proposed.After optimizing the scheme,the reservoir was expected to fully realize its comprehensive benefits,including flood control,disaster mitigation,irrigation,and water supply.The findings provide valuable references for the planning and design of future reservoir projects.
