Effects and Problems of Standard Raising of the Single Village Water Station in a City

Abstract:The water quality improvement effect and existing problems of the single village water station,located in a city in west Zhejiang Province,since the implementation of"standard raising"action were analyzed,and provided a basis for improving rural drinking water quality.Through sampling and testing the water quality of factory water and terminal water of single village water station,investigating the operation and maintenance of water station,the testing data and survey results were analyzed.Among the 272 monitored water samples,142 were qualified,and the qualified rate of water samples was 52.21%.As to the 10336 testing indicators,10039 were qualified,with a pass rate of 97.1%.The exceeding items were mainly free residual chlorine,total Escherichia coli,Escherichia coli,turbidity and total number of bacterial colonies.The study concluded that the qualified rate of water quality of single village water station"standard raising"in this city was low,and the excessive residual chlorine,microorganism and turbidity caused by poor operation and maintenance management were the main problem.In the future,the water station management and maintenance and the water quality treatment process should be improved.
