Design for Improving Monitoring Capacity of Small Reservoirs in Wuning County

Abstract：The construction of small reservoir monitoring facilities ensures safe operations by enabling real-time automatic monitoring of dam conditions,timely issuance of early warning signals,and prompt implementation of necessary repair and reinforcement measures.These actions collectively reduce dam safety risks,thereby enhancing overall reservoir safety.Considering the issues of incomplete dam safety monitoring facilities and low informatization levels at the Wuning County Reservoir,improvements have been made to its video surveillance and dam safety monitoring systems.Efforts are also underway to explore new technologies and methodologies to build a high-quality small reservoir safety monitoring network.This initiative aims to achieve comprehensive monitoring and automatic data collection for various safety parameters,thereby enhancing the capabilities for dam safety monitoring and diagnostics.
