Research on High-Quality Development of New Immigrant Villages in the Danjiangkou Reservoir Area of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project

Abstract：In response to the construction of the central route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project,a national key project,345,000 immigrants from the Danjiangkou Reservoir Area bid farewell to their homeland,friends and family.From the date of relocation,the new immigrant villages have gradually implemented the goals of"stability,development,and prosperity"for the immigrants in the reservoir area.As socialism with Chinese characteristics enters a new era,immigrants in the reservoir area in the new development stage have gradually moved from the sole pursuit of economic wealth to diversification.Focuses on the high-quality development of new immigrant villages,the measures,experiences,and challenges faced by new immigrant villages in achieving high-quality development were analyzed from the aspects of economy,culture,society,ecology,and organizational construction.
